Windows Defender SmartScreen Filter helps keep your PC safe by identifying downloaded files and apps to help protect you from malicious software and potentially unsafe web content. Here will show you how to quickly turn on or off SmartScreen Filter in Windows 10.
SmartScreen Filter in Windows 10 is turned on by default. If it was disabled accidentally, you can turn it on.
Step 1: Go from Start menu, click Settings.
Step 2: Click on Privacy.
Step 3: In the General tab, under the Turn on SmartScreen Filter to check web content(URLs) that Windows Store apps use option, you can turn that switch on or off.
