In Windows 10, an Action Center icon sits on the right side of the taskbar, to inform you of notifications from system settings and apps. Objectively, this is a useful feature. However, some people may don't like it and wonder how to remove the icon. Now, this post will show you how to remove the Action Center icon from Windows 10 taskbar.
Step 1: Open the Settings app using Win + I keyboard shortcuts, and then click on the first item titled System (Display, notifications, app, power).
Alternatively, you can right-click on the date/time on the extreme right end of the taskbar, and then select Properties or Customize notification icons from the menu to go directly to the System page of the Settings app.
Step 2: Highlight Notifications & actions on the left-side pane, and then click Turn system icons on or off under the ''Quick Actions'' section on the right-side pane.
Step 3: Switch the toggle button following the Action Center item to the ''Off'' position to remove the Action Center icon from the system tray on the taskbar.
