How to Access the Windows Recovery Environment?

By default, Windows Recovery Environment is preloaded into the Windows 10. If your computer is out of operation, you can restore the system without any files missing. Here provide three ways to access the Windows Recovery Environment in Windows 10.


Way 1: Go through Settings to Access the Windows Recovery Environment

Click on Start > Settings > Update & Security, then select Recovery in the left pane.

Under Advanced startup, tap Restart now to get into the Windows Recovery Environment interface.

Way 2: Press Shift + Restart to Enter Windows RE

Press Shift and click Restart at the same time.

Way 3: Run Command Prompt to Get into Windows RE

Type cmd.exe in the search box, and run Command Prompt as administrator.
